24 November 2015 - Web App Updated

The fileplan web app has been updated adding two new features, a number of improvements and resolving 11 bugs identified since the 1.1 release.

Version 1.1.1 of the fileplan web app went live on 24 November for all users.   No action is required, just log in to access the new features.  We recommend you refresh your browser page to ensure a clean start.

New Features

Drag and Drop to Folder  - documents can now be dragged from the Windows desktop or a Windows folder onto the results grid when a valid folder is selected in fileplan.   This action invokes the Add (document) from Computer operation.

Bulk Download  - multiple documents can now be ticked from the results grid and downloaded in a single operation using this new option on the Action pane.

Improvements

Published document Details pane fields can now be edited  - previously once the status of a Controlled document was set to Published, the user specified fields on the Details pane became read-only.

More consistent preview build times  - the time taken for a document preview to become available in the Preview pane should now be more consistent.

Zip file preview improved  - when a zip file is selected in the results grid, the Preview pane now lists the contents of the zip file showing the size of each file contained in the zip file.

Extension field now available as a Search field  - the Ext field has been added as an available search field when Show All Fields has been selected on the Search pane.
