fileplan for new users
This article is for all new fileplan users to ensure you have all the information you need to get started.
Getting started with fileplan
Before starting fileplan you should have received an email telling you that an account connected to your email address had been created.
Click on the link in that email to log on to your fileplan account and change the supplied password with one of your own choosing. Visit the fileplan blog for our article on 4 Tips for Stronger Passwords to help protect your online security.
If you are on a Windows machine, ensure that you or a user with system administrator rights has installed the fileplan Windows client application on your computer. This is available by clicking on the link "Download the fileplan client for Windows 7, 8 and 10".
Finally, to begin using fileplan you will need to be able to search through libraries to find documents. If no libraries are available to browse through, please consult with your fileplan Instance Administrator. Your screen should resemble that shown in the article Navigating around fileplan.
